Casa Real Winery Wedding: Kusum and Subash
February 8, 2009My first wedding of 2009 and boy was it memorable. Kusum and Subash invited me to take part in part 2 of their wedding at the Casa Real Winery (they got married in India last November). I had a blast hanging out with their family and wedding party. They really seem to take the “party” idea to heart as you can see from the dancing pictures. And can’t leave out the gorgeous colors on the bride and groom. Doesn’t Kusum and Subash look great!
Nothing is more fun than a game of dodge ball with the bouquets.
Kusum told me during dinner she couldn’t wait to get on the dance floor. As soon as the cake was cut Kusum and Subash got their groove on.
Saint John’s Wedding San Francisco: Stephanie and Jensen
November 21, 2008Stephanie and Jensen got married earlier this year at SF City Hall. Over the weekend they celebrated their union with a ceremony at St John’s and reception at Empress of China. I had so much fun photographing them that the entire day flew by in a blink of an eye.
Almost everyone I know has a old photograph of their parents or grandparents in a similar photo looking very serious. Here is a shot for Stephanie and Jensen to pass on to the next generation.
Stephanie looks absolutely stunning in her wedding dress.
Brazil Room Berkeley Wedding: Heather and Steve
November 9, 2008Take a rainy cold day, add a soaking wet photographer, and add a fun loving couple and what do you get ? An awesome wedding with lots of laughs! Heather and Steve got married at the Brazil Room in Berkeley during the first rain storm of the season. Heather and Steve are so much in love and so happy together. You can see it from their pictures.
The rain stopped for a few minutes and we ran out to grab this photo.
Jennifer and Darren Wedding
October 14, 2008Jennifer and Darren got married on the luckiest day of the year on August 8, 2008 at San Jose City Hall. Two months later, I was invited to help them capture the celebration with their family and friends. Jennifer and Darren had a traditional tea ceremony to honor their parents and relatives. Check out all those red envelopes!
We were able to take some beautiful pictures at the Japanese Friendship Garden. It was the perfect romantic backdrop for Jennifer and Darren’s wedding pictures. And the umbrellas were a great accent (perfect for blocking the rain that came later)!
