On a warm Indian summer day Anna and Andy got married at Viansa Winery among their closest family and friends.  From the traditional tea ceremony where their parents gave ageless and funny marriage advice to the merging of red and white wine to signify the commitment of marriage, their wedding was full of laughter and love.  Congratulations Anna and Andy.  Have a great time in Asia.

Anna and Eric engaged

October 22, 2009

Spent a nice fall evening hanging out with Anna and Eric. We hung out around Eric and Anna’s old stomping grounds Nob Hill and Russian Hill. I had fun chatting with them and wandering around the parks, churches, and people’s front steps.

See you guys in December.

I was in awe when I first saw the Old Saint Hilarys Church in Tiburon as I was meeting Kristi and Scott to photograph their wedding.  The church is absolutely beautiful.  Built in the 1800 the church sits on top of a hill with a 180 degree view of Tiburon and the SF bay.

When I met up with Kristi and Scott it felt like we had been friends forever they were so relaxed and stress free nothing could have stress them out on their special day.  Surrounded by all their close family and friends their ceremony was very intimate with personal stories about each other.  Following the ceremony Kristi and Scott partied the night away at Servino.

Congratulations Kristi and Scott.  Your wedding was absolutely fabulous.

Ceremony: Old Saint Hilarys

Reception: Servino

Scott is anxiously waiting to see Kristi right before the ceremony.

Caryn and Irwan Wedding

September 14, 2009

It was hot day in August but it was a great day for a wedding.  Surrounded by family and friends  Caryn and Irwan had a very intimate and fun wedding in the backyard of Caryn’s parents’ house.  The ceremony was full of little surprises…from Caryn’s dad giving Irwan a high five and a hip bump before giving Caryn away, to their officiant using huge notes to help him through the ceremony.

I highly recommend my brides to have a friend or family member be the officiant for their ceremony.  It makes the ceremony more personal.  Caryn’s brother in-law was the officiant for their wedding.  The ceremony was full of cute little stories and funny stories about the couple.

A quick ring polish before Irwan puts the ring on Caryn’s finger.

A great capture by Auey my second photographer.

Another great capture by Auey.

Caryn and Irwan had their reception at the Plumed Horse in Saratoga. Check out this wine room !

What a great host! Irwan made sure his guests had a great time dancing when he was the DJ for part of the night.
